This week in the CR South art studio!

Students in Drawing & Painting 1 were inspired by Käthe Kollwitz and her ability to express the issues of society through art. Students created their own print using the relief techniques showcasing a current issue they are passionate about!

Stop by the Holiday Pop Up Craft during lunches all this week before break! Clay and wooden ornaments and hand printed cards 🎄🕎 🎅 ❄️ ⛄️

This is a sad day for Philadelphia! I went to Tyler School of Art, but always had great respect for the traditional excellence that came out of PAFA! An annual tradition to see the MFA show will end this year for my artist community.

Guidance counselor and macrame enthusiast Ms. Bradley shared her craft with NAHS and Art forum. Look out for these beautiful designs for sale at the art show! Big thanks to Ms. Bradley!!!

25 CR South students showcased their artwork at Emerging Artists of Lower Bucks Art Show at AOY! The show had work from CR North, CR South, Bristol Township, George School, Pennsbury and Neshaminy high Schools.

Congrats to Katelyn Gainer, CR South senior for winning first prize in the Emerging Artists of Lower Bucks Art Show at AOY! She was recognized by House of Representative Brian Fitzpatrick and received a $750 cash prize!

Inspired by @AtomicHabitss stud’s set goal at start of each class & at clean-up reflect on progress, reassessing for next class. I had many renditions of this, didn’t give up, reflected, modified and adjusted. It’s def making a diff in engagement & quality!

Building classroom connections through art and geometry. Relationships matter and we are always better together!

In the studio, feedback isn’t just about art—it’s about growth. High school artists learn to give and receive critique with respect, resilience, and reflection… skills that translate far beyond the canvas. #ArtEd #LifelongLearning
