I was in a parade as a kid in the Cub Scouts. Our troop leader taught us to march and look at the podium at the right time, and we marched around the auditorium until we got it right.

I did. I served in my local boy scout troop. Our marching was much better. And we won the same number of wars. Also we had cookies at troop meetings

I'm flat footed, colorblind, and 34. Pretty sure I'd be rejected. I dont need to serve to say what is evident; that marching was laughably bad and was kinda disgraceful. I'm sure those gents can perform their practical duty just fine, but they looked sloppy to the world.
