1st Battalion, The Mercian Regiment’s combat mobility and anti-mobility specialists- the Assault Pioneer Platoon- have been practising urban and mine clearance. Clearing obstacles to enable freedom of manoeuvre, or creating them to restrict the enemy, are the Platoon’s core purpose. #Readiness #SFSH
