Two weeks ago, the structures team of project PICCARD conducted some structural tests on the fluid supply fairing in the CMAS Lab. The main goal of the test was to prove that the fairing can withstand 10kN of compressive force without any damage.🚀

Big thanks to ITEM for supplying project PICCARD with aluminum profiles customised to their needs! ITEM offers profiles and accessories which meet the requirements of our remote filling station and rocket trackers exactly. Both are critical for the success of our mission.

🚁 Helicopter Drop Test PICCARD 🚀 The recovery team tested their recovery system by performing a helicopter drop test. Separation, drogue descent and main parachute deployment as well as GPS localization could be tested.
