Time for some plain talk. Schools can’t be “safe islands” in an unsafe community. Counties and cities who don’t use the proven measures to reduce spread of Covid-19 ask schools and hospitals to fix their sloppiness and mistakes, which is wrong to do. The virus will find a way in.

We are headed into unprecedented territory as the virus gains speed through our state. Now is the time to pull together and fight the virus, not each other.

Wrong direction! In Kansas, 1005 new cases & 18 deaths since Wed. Cases recorded in 103 counties (surely the remaining two have had undiagnosed cases). Masks, social distancing, clean hands, and stay home from mass gatherings! It’s not worth it. Fix this so schools open safely.
