Women and Poverty | The current economic model, driven by neoliberal policies, further deepens poverty and inequality. Public funds that should be allocated to healthcare, social protection and infrastructure are instead diverted to debt servicing, depriving people of resources.

Women and the Environment | Women are primary providers of fuel, water and fodder for their households, and they bear the heaviest burden of resource scarcity and climate disasters. Yet, 30 years after the Beijing commitments, women remain under-represented in decision-making.

Women and the Media | Women journalists in Asia and the Pacific continue to face increasing threats, harassment and violence, especially when covering critical issues like human rights and gender inequality.
