Saturday brought wins for the 1sts and 2nds. The 1st XI beat Holme by 7 wickets, chasing 127. Ryan Davidson POTM with 4-19. The 2nd XI won convincingly by 155 runs. Chris BigmanBeckwith 88, C. Hodder 54 & TERRY ASKEW 40*. The 3rds were beaten by 5 wickets on Sunday.

Saturday saw the 1st XI secure a winning-draw at home to Shireshead. POTM Captain Morgan with an unbeaten 117. The opponents batted out for the draw with 1 wicket remaining, JoshBellas the pick of the bowlers. The 2s were beaten at Ulverston. Chris BigmanBeckwith with 65 runs.

On Sunday the 1s travelled to Burscough for a Lancashire Cup game. 5 hours after setting off, due to minibus issues, a reduced overs game was underway. Appleby secured victory by 20 runs in a close contest. G. Willan POTM. We travel to Formby in the next round on Sunday June 8th
