🪙 🪙 Currently, only ~0.8% of India's agri budget is allocated for #sustainableagriculture promotion. To scale up, we must radically increase budgetary support to promote SAPSs in rainfed areas as a 1st step. Besides, invest in farmers’ knowledge exchange & capacity building.

What else can fillip #sustainableagriculture? ➡️ Support long-term & landscape-level comparative impact assessments w/t conventional agri for informed scale-up ➡️Re-align govt support to farmers to reward outcomes like farm’s annual nutrition output or enhanced ecosystem services
