I think I've just had my beer of the month. After some excellent beers in The Dodo Micropub and TheOwl&ThePussyCat I headed to The Grosvenor Pub where the Southwark Brewing #harvard was exceptional.

I've visited thousands of pubs, some of them many times, but nothing beats a good first visit. The Heathcote and Star was saved from redevelopment by Save The Heathcote a few years ago but I never actually visited. I have now. It's big, no grey paint, Wimbledon and #caskBeer. I like it!

The Wellington pub is being pressured by their brewery, black country ales, to get rid of the pubs cats The cats have been resident for 5 years and are loved by regulars and visitors alike Malt and hops, the cats, have known no other home and are part of what makes it special ❤️
