The beauty of Tailscale is that you can set things like this up and then access them as if they were local, even though you opened no ports or even made any changes to the local router. My Florida N8N server can use the two 3090s in my basement for AI.

Server management and self-hosting became crazy simple.

This week I connected 5 computers into a private network in less than an hour, thanks to tailscale.

I can connect into any computer remotely and do whatever is needed from any place with the internet.

decided to create a udp irc server/client app in rust tonight with the std library for fun. the first messages sent back and forth with my friend (we have tailscale setup) resulted in both of us laughing like idiots in pure hacking joy and wonder
