I expect my highest earner for his boyhood team to set the standard. Like Gerrard did when Liverpool were shit. Certainly not visibly sulk and down tools on the field. That is a mentality issue. Anyway, it's all been done to death. The seperation is best for all.

this is interesting and something i've wanted to hear more about. i dont think the regulator has communicated its powers well enough.

Imagine being 16 years old and being excited to sign your first professional contract but your club has to delete the post because grown men are ripping you to bits over acne 🤬 disgusting

Just watching MOTD. If they do a tribute to Jota today, I hope people remember he was a teammate of a few of our players...

The problem here - which helps explain the wider mass dissatisfaction with VAR - is the correct decision has been made but it feels wrong because a) the rule itself is niche and relatively insignificant, and b) this will never, and has never, been applied consistently.

I dont get the Bayandir thing at all. Regardless of your views on Onana, Bayandir isnt better than him at anything. Last time i saw him at Old Trafford, he couldnt even pick a football up.

Agree. Manager needs to be braver here. There are positives, but his unwillingness to change our shape chasing an equaliser was frustrating. We are still losing games defending corners too.

Anthony Shaw (@anthonyfdshaw) 's Twitter Profile Photo

These are fouls for me, but we aren't getting them. So rather than keep conceding the same goal, we could probably do with making a plan to defend inswinging corners after 12 months of conceding them rather than keep doing the same thing. Innovative, i know.

my problem is always the same. if the ref gives it, he'd be sat there saying it correct. both decisions cant be right, it's binary. 95% of decisions and inconsistent application can now be justified and that's a big problem for any standards.

I feel like im moaning too much about the standard of refereeing, but that time thing annoyed me too. There was even a corner we had within that 6 that he didnt let us take for 30 seconds. We probably wouldnt have scored, but it's so basic that it's difficult to accept.

Anthony Shaw (@anthonyfdshaw) 's Twitter Profile Photo

So it was right either way and the referee was right if he gave it or didnt. Ah right. Good system. I cant think of anything that insults the intelligence of people as much as PL referees and VAR.
