Every month when I pay rent, I check in to ask if I'm getting the most out of L.A. If the traffic, the costs, the distance from family, are worth it. Nights like last night Largo at the Coronet --watching smart ppl having the most fun, being smart & funny together--is part of my why.

After delivering a v wordy, semi-ok set in class last night, I was slinking back to ny seat, hoping the ground would open & swallow me whole. Instead, one of my classmates lifted his hand for a high-five. Thanks, friend! I'll live to see another stage. #comedy #writing

This morning I filed a story Ive been thinking about for more than a year & working on for weeks. 10 mins later the ed. emailed to say the pub was shutting down, immediately. The amazing part? He offered to edit it & help repitch. The day he's laid off. anyone need an ed, lmk.
