On the face of it, a broadcast deal with Channel 4 is good news for England Hockey and Great Britain Hockey . Should make it more accessible - at least in theory. But if it’s all just on YouTube, that’s not so great (and certainly not attractive for potential sponsors). Time will tell.

Happiness is when the annual game takes place between Marlow Hockey Club U18s and a side made up of Uni Returners for the KP cup. We could have played 25 a side this year! Many of the Uni team now playing in the EHL, and this year, some of the U18s are doing likewise for Marlow
