A loan is pointless. Doesn't give us the funds to reinvest in Hato or Simons and we would lose a perfectly competent backup for midfielders who are either overplayed or regularly injured. Keep KDH if Fulham aren't offering us a chunky fee.

Every untouchable starter would have a quality backup if we sign Hato and Simons: Cucurella - Hato Reece - Gusto Colwill - Badiashile Caicedo - Lavia/Essugo Enzo - Andrey Palmer - Simons We need that depth for a 60 game season without Conference League training sessions.

Atletico would have told us they were passing on Veiga before we approached Ajax for Hato today. The deals aren’t linked. Also Veiga still has a market. His agent can’t tell us about 6 clubs wanting Veiga all summer before settling for him staying in the bomb squad for a year.
