#VHSL Baseball Final, Region 3C SF: No. 3 Spotswood 5, No. 7 Turner Ashby 4. Andrew O'Brien with the go-ahead RBI single in the sixth for the Trailblazers. O'Brien and Gass with two hits apiece. Carter Lenz struck out six in 4 1/3 innings pitched.

Spotswood baseball (Spotswood Blazer) is heading to the Class 3 state tournament, rallying from a 4-3 deficit to score two in the bottom of the sixth against Turner Ashby to win 5-4. They'll host the Region 3C Championship Thursday against Fluvanna Co.

#VHSL Baseball Final, Class 3 QF: Spotswood 10, Northside 0. Carter Lenz with a complete-game shutout on the mound, giving up just four hits and five walks while striking out eight for the Trailblazers. Andrew O'Brien was 3-for-3 with a homer and three RBIs in the blowout win.
