Battery operated candles are the safest way to light up spooky things at Halloween. However if you do have naked flames around, make sure they are well away from anything that can burn including costumes that might catch fire. More safety advice: rb.gy/i3zql

We supported our Police Scotland colleagues to launch #OpMoonbeam ahead of this year's bonfire season. Any attack on an emergency service worker is simply unacceptable and can impact on our ability to keep communities safe.
