Today we celebrate Dr Agnes Yewande Savage, who joined our register in 1929. She was the first woman of West African heritage to train & qualify in medicine, earning the Dorothy Gilfillan Memorial Prize for the best female graduate in 1929. Thanks Dr Savage. #BlackHistoryMonth
