It has been a great few days! I am excited to have 8 more days of pre-planning, learning, and some surprise treats for our amazing teachers and staff at Sawgrass Bay! 🤗 We will be ready to welcome our students back to campus or through Lake Live the 24th!

There is no better feeling than to see and experience the excitement from our students online and in person!!! Our Bobcats are Home!

I had the opportunity to visit the site of our new Four Corners E-STEM school (soon to be named) today! Seeing the gym walls being lifted was truly amazing. They are making some great progress as we prepare for our 21-22 opening! Lake County Schools

Now that the Four Corners k-8 is officially named Lake Pointe Academy, we would like to invite the community to help select our mascot.

Lake Pointe Blue Jays has a nice ring to it! The mascot is perfect in representing the sense of community we aim to build for the K-8.

The interior work is beginning at Lake Pointe Academy! Walking into the school today, all I could think about were the learning experiences our students will have within these walls.

This is my first official week as Principal of Lake Pointe Academy! Today it became real as I walked the interior of the school and could actually see the spaces our students will learn and grow.

Today we welcomed our Assistant Principals, Mr. Torres and Mr. Celis, to Lake Pointe Academy with a full tour of the campus. We are excited to have their leadership as we plan for the upcoming year! Only five more months until we get to greet our students for their first day!

I love our walks of the campus and seeing all the progress from week to week! The drone photos capture the outdoor environment. What a great space for PE, recess, athletics, and E-STEM learning experiences!

When the majority of our instructional staff shows up for a virtual meet and greet, you know it’s going to be a great 21-22 school year Lake Pointe E STEM Academy! Thank you for collaborating with us tonight and for having a passion for education! Go Blue Jays!

I LOVE my school!!!

I am incredibly proud of our daughter on her graduation day! Addy graduated Summa Cum Laude and earned an AP capstone diploma. She is a remarkable young woman who will do BIG things with her life! Her next stop is Florida Gulf Coast University!
