Latest #FlatlineFire size estimate is 85 acres. Wind has picked up, but a Utah Department of Natural Resources spokesperson says the direction it’s blowing toward the highway, rather than toward homes at Deer Valley Resort , is favorable for crews.

An air tanker from Cedar City drops fire retardant on the #FlatlineFire and heads home through the Heber Valley. The plane made three drops, including this one.

#FlatLineFire update: The fire is estimated at 85 acres. A heavy air tanker is on scene to assist with ground resources. SR-40 will be closed while the tanker makes retardant drops. Please use alternative routes & avoid the area.
