Muy buena pregunta y muy bien planteada. Sin embargo, en lugar de "vegetarianos" y "defensores de los animales", yo les llamaría "defensores del sentido común" y así creo que la pregunta se contestaría sola 🫂

En mi opinión, pasa como con la ciencia. Llegamos a acuerdos "estándar de oro"; pero luego aplicarlo es totalmente independiente. Son decisiones informadas. No es problema ni error, ni de la ética ni de la ciencia. ¿Qué opináis?
