Morning car conversations: Me: "Can you believe your mom's going to be 50!! this weekend? Isn't that crazy?" My 14yo son: "Dude, that's powerful" Every now & again my kiddos show up in the best way possible & remind me they are my biggest fans Fifty is powerful💪

This is the view from my neighborhood’s entrance & I cannot stop taking pictures of it. It’s my nightly routine. I start my walk in time to catch the sun going down while listening to podcasts w/ women my age talking about women’s interests. (I realize the metaphor in all this)

After my mastectomy in June last year, I had what I hope will be my last surgery today. During a walk w my 14yo tonight he asked if this is the best recovery so far & I said, “I think so …but this is the first day and I’m on drugs” Him: “That should be your book title”

One of my favorite things is discovering that an artist I love has done things that make me love them even more: “Neal was 74 by the time she was offered her first museum exhibition.”

I grabbed this shot of the Ohio River before my run this morning from atop the flood wall in New Albany, IN. While running down one of my favorite streets in our Southern Indiana town, I counted NINE Harris-Walz signs & only one for the other guy. It was a good run #VoteBlue2024
