So in lockdown 1 I got really into fitness, but struggled to keep it up during my first term of teacher training. This placement I’m determined to get back into it and so far so good! I’ve never been a runner so not very speedy but I’ve managed to run 47k so far this month πŸ€©πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ

This article changed my outlook on questioning students in live lessons! Before I was asking open questions to the room with little engagement, but by implementing the pre-call and the batched cold call, engagement increased with most students πŸ˜ƒπŸ™‹πŸ»β€β™€οΈ shorturl.at/aryEI

Turning to Twitter for inspo as geography Twitter is just so supportive 🀩 wondering if anybody has some suggestions for different ways to teach case studies? Ideally I want to steer away from the usual case study sheet! My class need some variety in a case study heavy unit 🀞🏼

My ECT focus for this half term has been on spaced practice with GCSE groups. What strategies do you use within your GCSE lessons to get students to recall and revisit previously taught content/topics?
