After a stellar indoor campaign Mira matched it with an incredible outdoor season. Young earned a trio of medals at the Big Ten Conference Outdoor Championships & then became the first Gopher, male or female, to earn bids to the NCAA Championships in three events (100m, 200m, 4x1)

⚡️ SCHOOL RECORD For the second straight year at NCAAs the #Gophers 4x100m relay team sets a new school record. 43.78 won't be enough to advance to the final, but we'll see where our All-Americans finish this season after the next two heats are completed. #SkiUMah

Odell Frye, Lauren Hansen, Akilah Lewis and Amira Young finish as Honorable Mention All-Americans with a 17th-place finish in the 4x100m relay. The school record of 43.78 improves the quartet from 20th-place in 2022 to 17th this year. #SkiUMah

One of the greatest #Gophers in history finishes her 100m career with a Second Team All-America honor. Mira places 14th with a time of 11.21 (-0.1 m/s) at the NCAA Outdoor Championships. She'll run in the 200m semifinal in about an hour. #ncaaTF
