We kicked off our Winter School on 4M’s with great enthusiasm! ❄️ It’s been an incredible experience so far, and we’re thrilled to have hosted amazing speakers like Daniël Lakens , Dorothy Bishop , and Carlo Umiltà, who shared their insights and expertise with us🚀 #WinterSchool #4Ms

Day 2 🚀 We continued our journey with an insightful session by Daniël Lakens , discussing the importance of Registered Reports.✨ Then, JK Flake 📈📏 took the stage diving into measurement not shmeasurement, challenging us to think critically about how we measure what matters ⚡️

Too bad not everyone could make it to the 4M winterschool, would have loved to interact with some of the people who could not pick up their badges.... 😂

🚀 Day 3 Ettore Ambrosini walked us through improving Neuroimaging Measurement 🧠💡. Then, Lisa DeBruine took us on a deep dive into Multi-Lab studies infrastructure, then showed us how to organize data and code —including building our very own R package! 📦💻

🔥 Day 4 After closely following Ulrich Schimmack’s work, it was an absolute blast to have him join us in person! 🎤✨ He delivered a brilliant thought-provoking talk on how we measure things in psychology—and the controversy of attempting to make causal inference. 🧠📊
