Woke up this morning & realised that most of us won’t be touching Spotlight Premium which is a relief. Us actors gotta stand together and make this addition worthless. #Spotlight only operate because actors pay the fees. We’ve been exploited by this monopoly for too long.

🔈 A message for Equity members We share the frustration of many members at new Spotlight tiered membership. We recommend no Equity member takes out ‘Premier membership’ until we understand the reasons for the change, & Council has discussed casting policy this November.

I’m saddened that Spotlight feels they’re doing a good thing by increasing the industry divide. The main casting website shouldn’t be limiting support to those who can afford it. They’re the ones who need it most. A website update and new app isn’t going to cover this up 🤦🏽‍♀️
