I want to make the largest expansion to the New York’s child tax credit in our state’s history. It’s what our working families deserve.

As New York’s first mom governor, I know the early years are the most expensive. That’s why in 2023, I expanded the child tax credit to kids under 4 for the first time. This year, I want to support parents even more – by tripling the maximum benefit for kids under 4 to $1,000.
