📚 Learning and Memory Problems in Down syndrome Linked to Alterations in Genome's ‘Dark Matter’ Researchers at #CRG led by Mara Dierssen and Cesar Sierra as first author, reveal that the Snhg11 gene is critical for the function and formation of neurons in the hippocampus.

Happy to contribute to this study that delves into the hippocampal landscape of a Down syndrome mouse model, revealing trisomy's impact on specific cell types. Snhg11 downregulation emerges as a key player, influencing synaptic plasticity and neurogenesis. Congrats Cesar Sierra
