The High Court has ruled the government’s climate adaptation plan is lawful. Friends of the Earth, with our co-claimant's, challenged that plan, which will not protect us from the extreme impacts of the climate crisis, particularly coastal communities and disabled people.

This ruling means communities across the UK, particularly those on the coast and disabled people, will continue to be at severe risk as the climate crisis escalates. The government must draw up and implement a tougher climate adaptation programme ✊bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…
