Comparing police brutality here to the George Floyd case isn't just a poor choice of words. It demonstrates insensitivity and ignorance in discussing serious issues.

Paired with mentions of a certain party's "redemption arc", a logical conclusion would be that they are insensitive, ignorant and self centered enough to hijack a valid cause to serve their own interests.

Political parties drawing self serving parallels and reducing centuries of human suffering to talking points is nothing unheard of. I'm glad to see more people recognising how tone deaf and detached from reality these people are.
