It appears Ben Lively will need UCL reconstruction and flexor tendon repair. No surgical date has been set, but is expected in the coming days. Typical return to play is 12-16 months.

With Ben Lively going down, the Guardians needed someone to step in and take the ball in the rotation. It’s only been two starts, but so far, Slade Cecconi has provided an early answer for that rotational spot.
