Jeopardy! is saddened to share that Alex Trebek passed away peacefully at home early this morning, surrounded by family and friends. Thank you, Alex.

Rest easy, Alex Trebek. Thanks for getting me through a lot of anxious days- Jeopardy was always cathartic and somehow meditative for me during harder times. ❤️

Alex Trebek meant a lot to me. No matter how crazy life got, he was a constant, a rock, a role model that I watched practically every night of my life. RIP to a man who encouraged the world to always pursue knowledge, no matter how trivial.
