Insulin should be free to diabetics. Not $35 for seniors and thousands for everyone else. Not $35 for those with insurance and thousands for those without. Insulin is a human right and should be FREE (ie price capped and paid for by taxes).

If you ever see someone say that Eli Lilly capped the price of their insulin to $35 you can remind them that manufacturer-sponsored cost-sharing programs like Lilly's are not price caps. t1international.com/blog/2024/01/1…

Another tip for writing image descriptions: You don’t need to start with "image of" or "photo of…" Our screen reader will indicate that it's an image. It's only useful to refer to the format when it's something more unusual, like a painting, or a cartoon.

Cannot wait for the “presidential debate” over who “capped insulin prices.” Narrator: Neither Democrats nor Republicans have ever introduced legislation to cap insulin’s price, let alone passed it. Insulin is 5x more expensive in the US than in every other country on Earth.

Seniors aren’t the only US demographic with insulin-dependent diabetes. What about the rest of us? How are we supposed to afford to live to be old enough for Medicare when insulin isn’t “capped” for anyone under 65?
