Aromatherapy session this morning. I have been rubbing the sage I dried in the recent hot spell through a sieve. I use tonnes of sage and I especially like it with roasted autumn pumpkins. #allotment

Double figures for breakfast. It’s long run Saturday& my Great North Run training for Winston’s Wish reached a new milestone. 10miles wooooo! So hard !At the start of the year I would never believed this possible. Never underestimate yourself. Don’t overthink just get on and do!

I listened to therosebudpodcast on my long run training for The Great North Run today. It made the 10 mile long run a whole lot easier. It’s a superb episode. If you are training for a race try taking Gyles with you in your lugholes. 10/10 #podcasts #running

We took ourselves to Cliffe Castle, Keighley today to see the Ice Age Art Now exhibition from The British Museum. It blows my mind to think of the hands that made this art& all these years later we were in enjoying it. I can’t imagine anything I make being here in 15000 years.

It’s been a tough week. But so glad we’ve had Meg in our lives. I always have the ceramic mini Meg I made last year to remind me of the love only a dog can give.

With a bit of kitchen wizardry I hope to change this lot into jam to thank supporters of my GreatNorthRun attempt. This one is half marathon & I’ve called it Running with Dad part 2 . It’s for child bereavement support charity Winston’s Wish. justgiving.com/page/helenclar…

Courgettes are in full flow. There”s 7 in this Thai Green sauce which will be stashed in the freezer. When I’m in the Creatory in the winter & can’t be bothered to cook . I can make fast healthy teas by adding protein and rice or noodles. #allotment #courgettes #gardening
