For all the fellow weather nerds out there: caught a rare sight in Memphis this afternoon! These are Kelvin-Helmholtz clouds, which form in a very specifically sheared environment where the two different wind speeds cause the clouds to look like rolling waves. Pretty cool! 🌊☁️
