Next Friday marks our 2022 Senior Night for Horseheads Girls Basketball! Each day, starting tomorrow, we will be recognizing 1 of 6 seniors who committed themselves to this program!! It’s been an honor to coach every one of them and watch them grow over the years!

Our first senior to be recognized is Sydnee Coss. Sydnee is one of the most genuine people you will ever meet. She puts others in front of herself always and is an awesome teammate. It’s been great having Syd the Kid playing with us since we can remember!! Join us next Friday!!

Next up-Alexis Guzylak!! GOOSE is a 4 year varsity player who has emerged as one of the hardest working, most athletic, and of greatest importance-a trustworthy captain! Alexis is a force on both ends, always going 100%!! She is one of the nicest young ladies you will ever meet!

Day 3: Eva Koratsis is next! The most positive + energetic person who comes to practice each day + works extremely hard! That approach has gotten her a D1 softball scholarship to Fordham. A true team-first player. Has a knack for hitting big shots!! Outstanding player and person!

Day 4: Allison McLaughlin-Started as a junior + then tore ACL last Feb. She has battled adversity + has been able to positively participate + help us out each day. She is a true team player and always has excellent insight. Truly a class act on + off the court. Fantastic person!

Day 5: Emma Romanski-One of the most versatile players we have had in awhile. Can shoot it from outside + is a great slasher to the rim. A genuine and kind individual who has always been a team-first player. Plays the game hard + has been a pleasure to coach! Our “X-Factor”!!

Day 6: Carly Scott-4 year varsity player who is a leader on + off the court. One of the best shooters to come out of HHS! She has a passion for the game + a never ending work ethic to go with it. High basketball IQ, but more importantly, she is an outstanding person and student!!
