At 33 John was diagnosed with #BarrettsOesophagus He's now a Public Patient Involvement & Engagement rep. for our All Ireland Cancer Network (AllCaN) Oesophageal programme, helping ensure people with cancer & Barrett's are heard & supported in the research shaping their care


PhD student, Lorraine Smith is exploring a new way to treat Barrett’s oesophagus using electroporation - a gentler method. Funded by Breakthrough Cancer Research through the All Ireland Cancer Network (AllCaN) Oesophageal programme, her work could pave the way for a new clinical trial for people with #BarrettsOesophagus
