So sad to see Prickend Pond has dried up so much. Another period of little/no rain may even see it completely dry up. As a gravel pit and not a natural pond, the pond relies on surface water run off and of course we’ve had next to no significant rain for weeks.

Two great events in Chislehurst today at Glebe FC and St Nick’s School. ⚽️🎉🥳

First stop this afternoon was to Glebe FC for the opening of their new 3G pitch and launch of their new name & branding. The 3G pitch opens up numerous new opportunities which is v exciting and will help to cement the club at the heart of the community sports. Glebe Football Club

Thunder bolts ⚡️ and lightning… actually not very frightening at all. But what a sudden downpour! And at least I won’t have to water my pots in the garden again tonight.

Love that Chislehurst is now a core element of this great club’s identity and brand. 👍
