Budget 24: Rachel Reeves says weekly earnings limit for Carer's Allowance will be increased - allowing #carers to earn up to £10,000 a year without losing the allowance. Says will also look at the cliff edge which means people lose all the allowance when pass earnings limit.

#Budget24 : the chancellor says there will be a real terms increase in funding for #councils - with £1.3b additional money for essential services. That would include at least £600m for social care. Also £230m for homelessness and rough sleeping.
