Uganda’s National Coordination Mechanism on Migration has begun sharing the National Implementation Plan for the #GlobalCompactForMigration with stakeholders. This effort is supported by IOM through the Better Migration Management Programme, funded by EU in Uganda & Bundesentwicklungsministerium.






18 government and entrepreneurship consultants from 🇺🇬, 🇰🇪, 🇹🇿, 🇪🇹, 🇸🇴, and 🇸🇸 are attending a business development training in Dar-es-Salaam 🇹🇿 to support youth entrepreneurship. This is funded by Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office under the Better Regional Migration Management (BRMM) programme.



The multi-country Global Compact for Migration exchange kicked off today with EU support to GCM efforts in Djibouti, Ethiopia, Somalia & Uganda. Kenya, Malawi, Tanzania, CSOs, academia & UN are also attending to boost regional cooperation & advance GCM implementation UE à Djibouti






With support from UE à Djibouti, Uganda’s National Coordination Mechanism recently took part in a multi-country peer exchange on the implementation of the Global Compact of Migration in Nairobi, 🇰🇪.




I together with 5 Uganda Govt. delegates participated at Regional GCM Implementation Plan Peer Exchange in Nairobi. Uganda presented best practices of GCM Implementation Plan development&others which will support the country advance migration governance. UE à Djibouti IOM Uganda 🇺🇳
