New analysis from the The Royal Society shows just how high UK visa costs for researchers are compared to upfront costs for similar visa routes in 13 other countries. Here, we take a look at how the UK compares to countries in the G7 included in the analysis 🔍⤵️ 1/5

It took more than a DECADE... but finally it’s published!!! It started as a CRAZY idea but after tons of hard work we built it: We hijacked the endogenous secretion systems of Toxoplasma gondii, a brain parasite, to deliver active proteins to neurons 👇 nature.com/articles/s4156…

Our new paper on epigenome editing is out! We mapped which effector domains regulate transcription across genomic, cell type and DNA-binding domain contexts. Then we built new gene repressor and activator tools with improved efficiency & deliverability nature.com/articles/s4158…

✨New✨ Brand lab preprint - Quiescent neural stem cells adopt a transient 'stem cell-neuron' identity to coordinate their reactivation across the CNS. We discussed the neuronal traits of quiescent NSCs for years, so it's been great to see Laura/Jocelyn uncover these mechanisms!
