Considering how I feared the game might go, I was pleased with the performance overall. Cuenca was almost faultless and Berge was excellent, staying composed and playing forward passes. Leno also kept us in it. Wilson's lack of a right foot was sorely apparent though. #FFC

If there are any Fulham fans on here taking the coach back to the Cottage after Newcastle tomorrow, could you let me know where the coach will be located at St. James' Park? I'm only taking the coach on the way back. #FFC #COYW

Fun to cover this match for Flashscore. Felt like Malmö would have been good value for a draw, with their midfielder Adrian Skogmar standing out in particular. Watch out for him in the years to come. A decent game despite relatively few clear-cut chances: flashscore.com/match/football…

Chukwueze is magic. Can't remember the last time we had a winger who is both-footed, can play on both wings and can go inside and outside really effectively. Kevin was obviously frustrating, but at least he occupies defenders and doesn't let his head drop. A deserved win. #FFC

Berge was my man of the match. He's been playing noticeably more forward passes in the last month or so, and it was good to see him drop in between the centre-backs to collect and drive into attacking areas and have a shot! A strong display. Shoutouts also to Sess, Tete and ESR.

For those fans who've watched Fulham for longer than me (before 2000), has there ever been a wetter match at the Cottage? There may have been bigger downpours, but it didn't stop the whole game. Can't remember when that last happened. #FFC #COYW

A pretty entertaining game to cover and a who's who of ex-Premier League names, among them Marco Asensio, Jhon Durán - who was sent off - and Naby Keita, who was excellent. Yiğit Efe Demir is one to watch - looked very assured at centre-back. My piece: flashscore.co.uk/match/football…

You could see it was an excellent goal in real time from the other end, but watching it on the highlights makes me appreciate it even more. To think about shooting from there first time with such an awkward view of goal is ridiculous.

Would've probably given it to Andersen, but Tete and Bassey also did quite a bit of excellent defensive work (plus Tete's goal helped, obviously). Thought Jiménez was excellent in that first half at bringing others into attacks, as well as that off-the-line clearance later on.

What a game. Bizarrely didn't think we'd even defended that badly to go 3-0 and 5-1 down - City's in-possession game was just phenomenal (Foden was the standout for me). Couldn't believe how poorly they defended though. Chukwueze is most unfulhamish by shooting on sight. #FFC

That was the loudest I've heard the Cottage since Brentford last season when our fourth went in. Was a bit surprised that ESR started over King, but he looked up for it, and the Kusi-Asare sub for Jiménez worked pretty well. Iwobi superb for long spells. #FFC

Don't think we'll be seeing the Berge-Lukić combo for many more PL games. Don't blame Silva for starting them both, but he realised that City were there to be got at and we looked so much more dynamic with that extra attacker on the pitch.
