The wait is finally over! 🥰 Today, after three long years of closure, the Park Picture House is reopening its doors. It’s been an incredible journey to reach this moment & the whole HPPH team are really proud of what we’ve achieved. We can't wait to welcome you back! 🥳

Finally got to see Hamilton West End at Victoria Palace Theatre - live on stage as opposed to my TV screen. Absolutely phenomenal! It's easy to see just how much hard work, creativity and joy went into such a fantastic production. 🎭

Whilst I was in London this weekend I visited the Colors Festival exhibition, which displayed some of the most beautifully vibrant street art! Highly recommend. 🎨

It's my husband's birthday and we decided to spend our lunchtime having a cute little picnic at the folly in the woods, which was just perfect. 🌲

Last night I really enjoyed Echoes of the North: Four Chapters in time at Victoria Theatre Hx for @YorkshireSilent. A real credit to all involved; @YorkshireFilm @NorthEastFilm North West Film Archive Brighouse & Rastrick @NeilKBrand Ben Palmer 🇪🇺 & The Archive Film Agency - to name a few. Fantastic show!

Went to see Julie_themusical at Carriageworks Theatre tonight & wow what a show! Very talented cast and a great way to tell her story. As a bisexual sword lady with a love of the stage myself (and an existing interest in this woman's history) - I highly approve and definitely recommend!

The other day my husband and I went to see the wonderful String Infusion at Sheffield Cathedral performing the music of Joe Hisaishi. Both big fans of Studio Ghibli - we had the best time, always a beautiful night when we attend the Candlelight events. Thank you Fever UK 🎻🕯

Had a lovely break away in Edinburgh recently on my annual trip to the Fringe. Saw some interesting new acts and some of my usual favourites, but as always I came back with joy in my heart for the arts. 💜🎭

I visited the Museum of Magic, Fortune-Telling & Witchcraft in Edinburgh last week - I was happy to see how they had done more in their tiny space than some large museums had managed to do across several galleries, in relation to the relevance of witchcraft in culture TODAY. 🏛

Another day of moving display cases. Big thanks to UoY Borthwick Institute for Archives for these lovely cabinets which are now in their perfect new home at The Folklore Centre, Todmorden. We love sustainability at museums & archives! 🏛📖

Had a wonderful day at the Museum Development Yorkshire West Yorkshire Forum at Museum of North Craven Life at The Folly - always great to hear from others in the sector and was lovely to look around such a beautiful building! 🏛

A weekend away involving bugs and beaches is exactly what I needed to recharge 🪲🌊
