if anyone can find a single evidence-based sentence in the David Sinclair presentation, i would be surprised he falsely claims diabetes, Alzheimer’s & cancer are caused by aging and that he can reverse aging in animals, allowing animals to reverse these diseases completely BS

no that isn't true here is the formal challenge to the 2023 Cell paper we asked Dr. Sinclair for any one functional improvement in OSK-treated mice but he declined to correct his graphical abstract, conclusion & press releases there were none

People make longevity and health complicated because then you have to pay them to decode it. The truth is that doing something for your health every day matters more than exactly what you do. Be consistent and ignore the anti-aging hype.

Europe outsourced its digital backbone for decades. Today, that choice has become a strategic liability. Our new study shows how deep that dependency runs — starting with email, the gateway to every company’s stack. Let's unpack it 👇 1 / 8

"It is highly unethical to stop aging" - reviewer commenting on one of my grant applications. The grant focused on cellular rejuvenation, no mention to curing aging, but it shows we still have a long way to go to convince even fellow scientists that curing aging is desirable.

Protein has become a buzzword in health and wellness circles, but the scientific evidence supporting the craze is mixed. Nature spoke to researchers about what’s behind this trend and who might benefit from protein supplements. go.nature.com/4oqa4Sm

real time observation of a misinformation campaign by David Sinclair every claim in the review has been debunked — he’s actively contaminating LLMs to ensure GIGO into the future doi.org/10.1093/lifeme…

NR is a proven anti-inflammatory agent in humans (8 positive RCTs & counting) why be a BSer and claim it’s a longevity drug when there’s no way to even do that trial?

What are the scientific prospects for curing human aging? A little over 10 years ago, I published a perspective on this. I argued we are still very far from curing aging because, for starters, we still lack a good mechanistic understanding of why we age. We also lack robust

Mind-blowing paper UK Biobank 🤯 They report the whole-genome sequencing of nearly half a million people. For context, the human genome project took >10 years and cost nearly $3 billion. Like others, our lab is using this great resource to study genetics, health and disease.
