⛈️SE MS & parts of SW AL (generally west of I-65) have been upgraded to a MODERATE risk of severe storms with an ELEVATED risk remaining across eastern parts of the area. Storms this afternoon & tonight will be capable of producing tornadoes (some strong) & damaging winds.

A tornado watch has been issued for parts of SW Alabama until 8 PM. This is a particularly dangerous situation watch. Numerous tornadoes expected w/ violent, long track tornadoes also possible. Stay wx aware, prepare your safe place, and have multiple ways to get alerts. #ALwx
