As always, I love Ms Hiking Shawty's photos - so much beauty out there. Being a long walker myself, it all feels very familiar and makes one smile. Plus, I will be going to the Lake District for a few days very soon and get to see the mountains and valleys there too. Exciting!

Following in the footsteps of the greats, I went for a short walk (upon arrival today) through the valleys of the Lake District! Admittedly, a wet end of the day, but still exciting.

Looking forward to walking these hills and mountains in the morning. Now for an evening of tea, biscuits and some dissertation writing (and answering emails 😨)!

Today, I walked for nearly 25km (and I am not done yet) up to Scafell Pike and the surrounding peaks! The weather was dreary as I ascended into the cloudy darkness in the morning, but, as the sun reappeared in the sky, the views revealed were spectacular.

A few days ago, on a quiet evening, I walked just over 12km (after a day of ambling about near Scafell Pike) climbing up Side Pike through Fat Man's Agony to watch the sunset and have a gorgeous view of the surrounding valleys.

Bravo 👏 I am glad that more people are learning about the medieval times! Though, surprisingly this comes out of an article critiquing contemporary economics.
