Russian and Ukrainian hackers agree on respecting the ICRC 'Geneva Code on of cyber-war', to de-escalate cyber-attacks. The Code includes, 8 rules for “civilian hackers” during war, and 4 obligations for states to restrain them (icrc.org)

We ICRC are appalled at the killing of medics from both PRCS and Magen David Adom while carrying out their life-saving work. Under international humanitarian law #IHL, health care workers on all sides must be protected at all times. They are #NotATarget.

It's encouraging to see #China join forces with #France, #Brazil, #Jordan, #SouthAfrica, and #Kazakhstan to rally political commitment in support of international humanitarian law. In a world of escalating conflicts and blatant #IHL violations, this is a crucial step forward.
