Air 0.21.0 was just released. Thanks to the community we now have very much improved SSE support, improved Jinja configuration capabilities, and several refactors. Onto writing tutorials! github.com/feldroy/air/re…

We have the start of an Air MCP server now at github.com/feldroy/AirMCP - currently it only has 1 tool, but more are on the way! Project scaffolding tools forthcoming + perhaps Django management command-inspired tools Beyond those, what MCP tools would be cool for Air to have?

The new reference doc system has been deployed! This first pass took just an hour of effort by the core team. Just imagine the improvements when we get another hour into this effort! airdocs.fastapicloud.dev/reference

Instead spreadsheets for data review, I'm using a little custom annotation app build with Air Web Framework. Before I used to use django for building little eval apps mostly because of the forms api, orm, and admin, but now I've moved to Air since it's light weight and easy.

We just got pretty argument tables in our API reference docs. Needs some cleanup, but we're really happy with where this is going!

To thoroughly ensure that Air works well for building indie startup products, we're starting to build a software product of our own The product is in the AI-for-fiction-writing niche. More about it soon, keep watching for details

Pair-programming with Daniel Roy Greenfeld, figuring out early database/ORM patterns for Air Web Framework First we built a CRUD app by hand to see what felt smooth, and now we're refactoring a real-world project to follow those patterns

Some web frameworks make money by selling hosting, locking you in so you can only use their platform for hosting real sites That's not us. We will never, ever do that to you Because we love portability, and we're too addicted to writing a web framework to work on that
