Now hearing from Rebecca Levenson, Senior Policy Analyst at Futures Without Violence.

Levenson just shared that 1 in 5 teen girls report experiencing physical and/or sexual intimate sexual violence...WOW

Women experiencing abusive relationships are more likely to experience a STI.

HIV + women are more likely to have experienced intimate partner violence.

2nd presenter is Beck Dunn, Senior Program Manager for ENSYNC Diversified Management Services in Lake Mary, Fl

Dunn currently manages a program that addresses the intersection between domestic violence & HIV/AIDS.

Dunn says aggressiveness, public disrespect & constant anger may indicate domestic violence in addition to usual physical signs.

Don't forget that the risk for intimate partner violence also exists among same-sex couples. This is not only a heterosexual issue.
