Good morning! We're monitoring the situation as the county is repairing the bridges that got washed out on our property last weekend.

It’s one of the most beautiful bindings of Beowulf. I know I’ve had a few people ask me where I got mine. Check the link in the OP.

Being truly educated and erudite was always (correctly) understood as a privilege of the elite. This is because true education and wisdom are born out of a personal investment and pursuit; it is not something that is delivered to you. Historically, it was typically only the elite

Whatever side you favor or don't favor, I have to say this remote exchange of millions of dollars worth of missiles is about the most pathetic and gay expression of warfare I can imagine. It's like a bad light show with occasional and (mostly) random casualties.

It's still incredible to me that we just have immediate access to texts. What a gift we have in the patrimony that was so laboriously passed down to us.

The project of modernity has seemed to be golem-crafting souls where the men are dominated by the anima rather than integrating it, and the women are dominated by the animus rather than integrating it.

When your government officials are openly telling you that their priority is to kill you, you should be at least asking some questions.

The wife is expecting baby #10 in December. It was revealed to us in several dreams that it will be a boy, so we're thinking of boy names. The current contenders are Sigfried, Godfrey, or Theodric. What do y'all think we should go with?

I don't have a whole lot to recommend, but one thing is that you should definitely make things for your kids instead of buying them shit. You really don't want "stuff" clutter with that many people, and 99% of the things you'd buy for them aren't going to mean much to them.
