At what point do we stop calling GPUs GPUs?

Seems like it is only Meta's GPUs that aren't melting.

It is obvious that we are in the midsts of a computing replatforming. One of my biggest mental challenges is to stop and wedge the AI models into all the different workflows. It's so cumbersome, but once done, the results are amazing.

It's hard to just keep up with all the Anthropic releases, let alone the rest of the developments in AI. Things that never change, like a great watch or classic car, somehow seems more endearing in this rapidly evolving world.

Technological advance is a double-edged sword.

Software will soon change so fast, you'd have to refresh / update your apps several times a day to get the latest features.
